Red silk lace scarf

This scarf is the result of the henna-dyed tussah silk roving I bought, and featured in my previous post. I spun the silk to lace-weight, and then knitted the scarf using the branching out pattern featured on knitty.com. I got this pattern from my knitting friend Celia, who gave me a beautiful scarf made with the same pattern, from some alpaca she had spun. This was my first attempt at knitting lace, and it's something I'd do again. I'd decided I wanted quite a long scarf so I could fold it in half and drape it across my body, so the finished scarf is roughly 7 feet long and 7 inches wide. It weighs just over 30 grams, or 1 ounce. It's very soft, so is going to flop as it's worn.
